Everything in Cherokee culture is about balance and connection. We must preserve our plants and take care of our environment in order to preserve Cherokee culture and language. Being an active part of that preservation by working with Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs as the Ethnobiology Manager is both gratifying and rewarding.
– Feather, Ethnobiology Manager
The Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Unit gives children a head start on their education to have better success in school and teaching young children can be one of the greatest experiences that a person can have. Children learn at an early age new skills and are able to interact with the world in new and different ways. Play provides energy, motivation and motivation for learning. There are not many jobs where you get paid to play alongside children but I have enjoyed doing so for quite some time now.
– Jerome, Early Head Start Teacher
